“Hello my darlings

It’s officially wedding season and I’m well… not getting married. I am however determined to ensure that anyone who is, look absolutely fabulous on their special day.

Just like whipping your butt into shape and going to numerous bridal fittings for the perfect dress takes time and planning, so does getting your face in flawless condition. It’s safe to say that you cannot just wave a magic wand and have perfectly smooth, pore-less, evenly colored skin overnight (unless you're like twenty) and let’s be honest, most of us are at an age where a face mask can only do so much (sigh).  I’ve found the answer which will ensure beautiful glowing skin that will last not only the day of your wedding but for the following year to come too.

I wanted a treatment that would ensure a difference that not only I could see and feel, but I wanted something that would have people asking me - what have you done? What makeup are you wearing or what’s your skincare routine? In other words -  I wanted major results and believe me, I have found the holy grail. I introduce you, my loves, to the InfiniVive Facial created by Dr. Jack Zamora.

Upon meeting Dr. Jack and his team you’ll be assessed to which level of the facial is best for you… there are four, I learned I’d be having a level two. However, before I get onto the really good stuff - whilst assessing me Dr. Jack expertly pointed out a few procedures that I needed to instantly improve my features such as a Botox fix in my forehead (I cannot stress enough how important it is to have this done by a medical expert - you should have seen it before… NOT a good look!). He quickly fixed the damage done a few weeks prior and it immediately looked better. We also decided for me to have Laser Hair Removal which I had one session of before quarantine struck! I will be continuing this post-quarantine and will do a write up of my experience once life returns to normal.

Back to the pièce de résistance… The InfiniVive Facial and level two. What exactly is a level two I hear you say? Well, let me indulge you. First of all, it consists of a Radio Frequency Micro-needling, don’t worry for you needle nervous folk (of which I am one) you are numbed by a topical aesthetic which kicks in FAST. I could barely feel my lips never mind anything else. The needling honestly is painless - I was extremely nervous but Jackie made me feel totally at ease. She patch-tested each area before going in for the kill and I was shocked at the fact that I could feel well… nothing. Radio Frequency Micro-needling tightens the skin, improves the appearance of wrinkles as well as diminishing scars and large pores. This part of the process leaves your skin feeling firmer and looking healthier. It stimulates the body’s wound healing response triggering new collagen and elastin production resulting in an improvement of tone and texture. It took around twenty minutes then came the LaseMD.

Whilst having the LaseMD my skin was fairly numb, however, it did feel like a blast of heat in some areas. Whenever it did feel hot, it went as quickly as it came. LaseMD uses a gentle Fractional Fiber Thulium Laser that gently creates mico-holes in the skin to deliver energy. Skin can better absorb topical nutrients post-treatment (like a sponge!)  resulting in visible improvement in the tone, texture, and overall quality of the skin. This took around fifteen minutes to go over my face.

Next up, was the Intense Pulsed Light (IPL). I had a few brown spots on my forehead from enjoying sunbathing a little too much, I was desperate to have them removed and this wonderful device did the trick. At this point, it’s safe to say the anesthetic had worn off however it wasn’t painful and felt like someone was flicking me with a little rubber band. Believe me, if you can handle a bikini wax, this is nothing. As IPL is aimed at pigmentation it’s very quick and takes around ten minutes. My face at this point felt a bit warm and looked a little pink like I’d had one to many gin and tonics. So far… so good… but next is where the magic happened.

The last step in the InfiniVive Facial is the topical stem cell application. The stem cell serum is gently placed on the skin and is massaged in which at this point just feels like heaven. In each tiny vial there are 1-1.2 million umbilical cord-derived mesenchymal stem cells, which, over the coming twelve weeks will create a phenomenal anti-aging response, stimulate collagen and tighten up the pores giving you an amazing glow. The InfiniVive MD Stem Cell Serum is designed to moisturize and hydrate the skin to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. In short, it’s nothing short of a miracle.

The next day I was slightly pink and a little swollen. I was given post-care products and advice on a skincare routine to maximize the effects of the treatment. I had no idea what to expect, what I would look like, and being honest, I’m genuinely bowled over with the results. Within forty-eight hours I was looking fresh-faced and excited to see what the coming weeks would bring.

I write this piece eight weeks post InfiniVive Facial and hand on heart - could not be more impressed. I have tried EVERYTHING and I’ve never seen anything like it. I had red patches, brown spots, un-healing acne marks that just wouldn’t disappear no matter how many products I tried or regular facials I got. I was constantly breaking out and felt uneasy going bare-faced in public which now does not bother me AT ALL. As you may know, I am on a daily talk show and wear thick makeup to cover my skin, post-facial I’ve had so many kind comments from viewers regarding my skin and I honestly know it's for my skin and not my foundation. I cannot thank Jack Zamora and his wonderful team enough for introducing me to this treatment and highly recommend it for any brides or anyone wanting to look their best or to truly be comfortable in the skin their in. As I am on week eight cannot see how the next four weeks go!

Until next time Darlings, stay fabulous and follow me at @steffrjones
